Two Thoughts

Two interesting thoughts came to me today. The first was as I was looking at the perfectly imperfect, healthy bark of a young tree and realized that we value the things on this planet far too little (and that is the source of our biggest problems). Then I decided I could start my own new religion and that it would be a nameless religion.

The second thought involved realizing the joy in the idea of reincarnation; what if we had infinite lives? Or what if we had a
million; how would you live the millionth life? There seems to be infinite stuff in the universe, or perhaps it's mainly infinite empty space, but what about the joy of infinite life?

But the first thought was more important to me. What must we do to learn to value again? What must happen to us?
